VerticalExpert’s FAST service and optimization approach is designed to enhance system performance by taking the holistic view of coordinating and analyzing system parameters, applications, database, developments and application interfaces. It is a broad-based approach covering multiple dimensions of system lifecycle management. FAST service focuses on benchmarking, sizing, analyzing, measuring and controlling areas of database administration, application management and development support.

Understanding our customers’ need for reducing performance optimization costs, VerticalExpert has introduced FAST service that employs qualified and trained professionals who use our proprietary tools to automate and generate performance based reports accurately. These reports are analyzed and a performance process roadmap is developed to manage and deploy optimization improvements effectively. The service helps to obtain a quick and effective solution and can be combined with quality process for standardization across the organization.

Implementation Methodology

Project Start-up

The purpose of the project start-up stage is to clearly understand the nature and extent of work, in detail, that is going to be involved in the implementation process, and to clearly document the implementation activities for the client.

The deliverables at the end of this stage are:

• Constitution of the Management Steering Committee(MSC)and Core Implementation Team (CIT)
• Constitution of the VerticalExpert project team
• A detailed project plan
• Project control strategy

Functional Requirements Study & Gap Analysis

During this stage the VerticalExpert team details out the client requirements and consolidates the information needs of the client’s business operations. These requirements are mapped to the Microsoft Dynamics Application functionality.

VerticalExpert consultants will develop a prototype and will carry on the discussions related business processes, validations, approvals and outputs based on the prototype developed. This is a special approach of VerticalExpert and is based on the experience gained during the implementations.

The deliverable after this stage is a Functional Requirements Document (FRD)/ Gap Fit Analysis.

FRD Presentation

This stage aims to get a sign-off from the Customer in terms of the requirements. The scope and solution are frozen in consultation with the users concerned.

Customization

On sign-off of the FRD, VerticalExpert Team will start working on configuring and customization of Microsoft Dynamics Application to ensure that the software is in line with the FRD.

Re-design of reports, as mutually decided, is also taken up at this stage. The customized system is demonstrated to the client and a formal sign-off on customization obtained.
